Occupational Therapist sought to join a specialist team in a new school for autistic young people, with a focus on complex needs and neurodiversity.
We're looking for an experienced clinician to contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for individuals with varying support needs. The ideal candidate will have a clear vision of outstanding therapeutic services and be able to work collaboratively with a range of key partners.
The post holder will progress OT specific therapeutic services, working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, complex and developmental trauma. The role requires a systemic and formulation-based approach, with a focus on holistic and integrated care.
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and other professionals. They will need to demonstrate drive, motivation, and resilience, with the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and build consensus.

Essential Criteria:
* Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
* Registered with the HCPC
* Training in sensory integration
* Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
* Experience of working with adults and/or children who are autistic or who have an intellectual disability and/or additional needs
* Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
* Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults
* Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
* Skills in the management of data
