PHS Job 2736
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Nanny for a prestigious family based in Kent. The family consists of two principals and their two children: 6-year-old twins. They are seeking a dedicated Nanny to provide nurturing support and care for their children in a live-in capacity. This is a full-time role, with two days off per week, arranged in discussion with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the children’s daily routines, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, and engaging the children in fun, educational activities tailored to their ages. The family is keen for the Nanny to foster a stimulating environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
Additional responsibilities include preparing simple, nutritious meals for the children and assisting with light housekeeping related to them, such as keeping play areas tidy and supporting them in organising their belongings.
The family highly values a Nanny who can instil structure and boundaries positively, encouraging self-discipline, responsibility, and good manners. They seek someone kind and caring who can set clear expectations and limits in a respectful manner.
This is a long-term role with the opportunity to become a trusted and integral part of the children’s lives. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the needs of a busy household are essential, as is occasional travel if required.
Main duties of the Full Time Nanny:
* Providing comprehensive care and support for the two children.
* Managing daily routines, including school preparations and bedtimes.
* Acting as a responsible role model to encourage good manners and behaviour.
* Leading age-appropriate educational and creative activities.
* Ensuring children’s safety and well-being, both at home and on outings.
* Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks.
* Encouraging good hygiene and supporting grooming routines.
* Regularly updating parents on progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
* Maintaining clean and organised play areas and children’s belongings.
* Supporting school pick-ups, drop-offs, and liaising with family or staff as needed.
Requirements for this Full Time Nanny:
* 3 years of relevant experience
* Checkable references
* UK working permit
* Driving license
Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.
