Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and across a range of software applications (Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Android, iOS).
2. As part of the EMEA IT support team, assist users with any IT related incident when called upon.
3. Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
4. Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
5. Install and configure new IT equipment.
6. Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.
7. Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.
8. Maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately.
9. Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
10. Create, maintain and publish relevant support documentation to assist all staff in the quick resolution of their incidents and service requests and enable users to become more self-sufficient.
11. Undertake other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
2. 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting and cross matrix global organization.
3. Good knowledge around IT client systems.
4. Basic knowledge around infrastructure and networks.
