Our Area operations North team has a fantastic opportunity for a Delivery Engineer to join them in Kendal. Our Role As a Delivery Engineer, you will manage high-voltage and low-voltage electrical maintenance and construction projects on the distribution network. You will also be trained to undertake standby duties and other duties. In this role, you can expect to: Provide technical and operational guidance and leadership Be actively involved in fault resolution, including a proactive approach to new equipment and technology, resulting in improved restoration times Manage and update information on outstanding fault and abnormality reports Communicate with other engineers regarding the progression of faults with a view to expediting timely resolutions Ensure the safe and efficient completion of switchgear maintenance and construction projects. Who we are looking for To apply for this electrical engineer role, you will need an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and high levels of engineering experience and knowledge. You will also require the following: Hold or working towards LV authorisation, including LV Fault Management Hold or working towards a minimum of 11kV SAP with or working towards Field Control Authorisation A high level of engineering experience and knowledge, in the fields of LV & HV Fault Management, Construction, Maintenance & Overhead(Desireable) A working knowledge of the relevant Codes of Practice and the Industry as a whole (essential) Be able to work by yourself with a minimal amount of supervision and be responsible for managing capital, fault and maintenance targets and costs and producing reports as necessary Be proficient in MS Office with good analytical skills and with the ability to produce and interpret spreadsheets and to produce MI reports Have experience of training and mentoring engineering, industrial staff and apprentices Be focussed on providing exceptional customer service Be an excellent written and verbal communicator Hold a full UK driving licence What we re offering As a vital team member and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, we'll provide a favourable salary and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.
