Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting our longstanding client with their recruitment of a Payroll Administrator to join their team based in the Bridge of Don. This is a permanent staff role with hybrid working available.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple contracts
2. Process pay in accordance with various pay agreements
3. Set up and pay new starters
4. Process leavers and applicable termination payments
5. Calculate Redundancy payments
6. Calculate and pay SMP, SPP, SSP and Occupational sick pay
7. Liaise with other departments to ensure communication lines are clear and deadlines are met
8. Deal promptly and professionally with payroll queries
9. Complete correspondence in a timely manner
10. Produce reports for various departments across the business
11. Liaise with third parties i.e. Pension providers, HMRC and Courts
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of 2 years payroll experience in an offshore fast paced environment
2. Good working knowledge of Microsoft office including intermediate excel skills
3. Up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation and HMRC reporting requirements
4. Recognised CIPP payroll qualification would be desirable but not essential
