We’re seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Manager to join our team and lead the charge in maintaining our diverse range of buildings!
The Building Maintenance Manager will perform the following duties:
1. Oversee and lead a team of specialized contractors and other personnel.
2. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules.
3. Ensure that safety rules and guidelines are followed on construction sites at all times.
4. Inspect and review the quality of work done by workers.
5. Keep up-to-date and accurate financial records.
6. Hire and/or select subcontractors and contractors while also scheduling and coordinating their activities.
7. Ensure that legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations are strictly complied with.
8. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively using their own initiative as well as part of a team. Experience with building maintenance would be beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £27,500 per annum.
Company car and phone will be provided to the correct candidate.
28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).
Schedule:
Day shift.
Monday to Friday.
Overtime hours may be required.
Experience:
Building Maintenance Management: 1 year (preferred).
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (preferred).
CSCS (preferred).
Work Location:
On the road.
