Recruiter (fixed term contract)
Position Summary
Reporting to our Recruiting Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by sourcing and recruiting talent, managing the screening and hiring process, and providing guidance to hiring managers on how to identify talent to meet Singer’s hiring goals.
This is a remote, temporary assignment. Some in-office meetings may be required.
Essential Functions
1. Performs full cycle recruiting to meet Singer’s operational needs, including sourcing talent, screening and evaluating candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
2. Ensures all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with local, state, and federal employment-related laws and regulations and in a manner that results in the hiring of the best qualified and diverse applicants for the position.
3. Develops candidate offer packages and contracts that are competitive and support employee equity.
4. Creates a candidate experience that best represents our Company, the opportunity, and our culture.
5. Develops postings, posts positions, and uses social media to source applicants.
6. Supports new employee onboarding to ensure a positive experience.
7. Collaborates with hiring managers and colleagues to continually improve processes and the hiring experience.
8. Delivers candidate declines with compassion and in a timely manner.
9. Stays current with all recruiting trends and best practices.
10. Manages all candidate data and documentation in the applicant tracking system so that information is current and complete.
11. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Key Experience and Competencies
1. Four or more years of full cycle recruitment experience.
2. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
3. People-oriented mindset with strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
4. Strong preference for recruiting experience in a production/manufacturing environment and/or startup environment. Automotive background highly desirable.
5. Organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
6. Confident with HR and Recruiting systems, as well as desktop software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
7. Ability to work remotely.
