About the role The IS Analyst for Workplace Security works within the IS team of Booker, and is responsible for delivering effective, secure and efficient systems in asset management and security to help improve customer satisfaction and cash profit. The role is responsible for implementing and managing security measures for Windows environments to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. You will ensure all devices are consistently patched and up-to-date, thereby reducing the risk of security breaches. Regularly monitoring security systems and generating detailed reports on security status and incidents will be crucial for providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Ensuring that all systems and processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements is essential for maintaining compliance with security policies. You will quickly respond to security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaboration with other IT teams, departments, and external vendors will be necessary to coordinate security efforts and ensure the seamless integration of security measures.
