Role Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our client's team in Poole. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis HAAS CNC machines to produce components in batches ranging from 1-off prototypes to small production runs (up to 500 units). You will also have the opportunity to utilise OneCNC software to streamline programming tasks. Key Responsibilities ⦁ Programming, setting, and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis HAAS milling machines to produce precision components. ⦁ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing to tight tolerances. ⦁ Producing components in a variety of batch sizes, from 1-off prototypes to 500-off production runs. ⦁ Utilising OneCNC software for programming tasks as required. ⦁ Ensuring high standards of quality and consistency in all work. ⦁ Conducting basic machine maintenance to ensure reliable operation. ⦁ Collaborating with team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines. Qualifications and Experience ⦁ Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, with specific experience on HAAS machines. ⦁ Proficiency in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines. ⦁ Experience with OneCNC or similar CAD/CAM software is advantageous. ⦁ Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, materials, and machining practices. ⦁ Ability to work independently while maintaining a focus on quality and productivity. ⦁ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
