Job Summary
Manage AV systems integration projects to achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Share subject matter expertise to promote employee development.
2. Complete projects within assigned budget.
3. Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
4. Direct all personnel and activities on project site.
5. Read and understand documents for each assigned project including but not limited to: project scopes of work, bid drawings and specifications, contract, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.
6. Obtain quotes from qualified subcontractors as necessary.
7. Facilitate internal project kick-off meetings that include key participants from sales, engineering, fabrication, installation, and programming.
8. Create and manage the project schedule and coordinate appropriate resources for all assigned projects.
9. Point of contact for all internal and external project communication and documentation for the life of the project.
10. Provide weekly job progress reports to all internal and external stakeholders.
11. Acquire daily site progress reports from lead technicians and respond to needs identified.
12. Facilitate ordering of materials for projects.
13. Coordinate equipment distribution and shipping to meet project timelines.
14. Manage all internal and external project change orders.
15. Verify work performed on each assigned job meets quality standards.
16. Manage or facilitate the testing and certification of installed systems.
17. Ensure clients receive appropriate training on all installed systems.
18. Create and maintain all project-related documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
19. Address all project team questions in a timely manner.
20. Travel to various job sites required.

8. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
9. Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
Education and/or Experience
1. Five years of experience as an AVI-SPL Project Manager or seven years similar experience outside of AVI-SPL preferred.
2. Experience as a Project Manager in the construction or technology industries is required.
3. Experience managing large multi-phase projects preferred.
4. Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
5. Prince2/PMP accreditation.
6. AVIXA CTS.
