I am currently recruiting a Credit Controller/ Accounts Receivable for an FMCG/ RETAIL company based in Central London, close to St Paul station.

My client is a well-established company based in Central London. Due to recent rapid growth, they are now looking to hire a Credit Controller/ Accounts Receivable to join their diverse team. This is a permanent role with hybrid working (2-3 days in the office / working from home). Their offices are based in London, close to St Paul Tube Station.

Description
Credit Controller/ Accounts Receivable:
* Full responsibility for a portion of the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Ledger.
* Ensure that customers pay amounts owed to the company on the due date, including the speedy resolution of any queries or claims in liaison with the customer services team.
* Gather, investigate, analyze and process Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit and any other security required on Customer Accounts.
* Allocate payments on account, investigate short payments, overpayments, credit requests, and determine appropriate resolution to inherited complex reconciliations.
* Review financial information, credit reports, and customer pay history to recommend appropriate credit limits for assigned accounts.
* Escalate accounts for debt collection and/or report to insurers in line with company policy.
* Raise sales invoices.
* Chase POs.
* Prepare the Age Debtor report.
* Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reporting for management, as requested.
Profile
* Preference for 3+ years' experience in Credit Control and Receivables, ideally from Retail or FMCG.
* Excel experience is essential.
* Methodical, patient, flexible, and open-minded are all essential attributes.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
* Works well under pressure, follows through on commitments, and meets deadlines.
* Strong analytical thinking skills / problem solver. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Internal and external relationship builder.
Job Offer
The successful candidate will be paid between £32,000 to £36,000 per annum based on experience.
