Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Looking for a rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant role in Lancashire? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Special School in Bamber Bridge, PR5. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils aged 3–19 with a range of moderate, severe, profound, and complex learning needs.
Key Information:
Position: SEN Classroom Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Preston, PR1.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Key Duties:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to each pupil’s individual needs.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment to help all students thrive.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behavior through tailored support and positive reinforcement.
Help celebrate every pupil’s unique progress, milestones, and achievements.
Work closely with the wider school team to promote strong relationships between pupils, staff, and families.

A genuine desire to help SEN pupils reach their full potential.
Experience is welcome, but graduates (particularly in psychology or education), teaching assistants, and career changers with a passion for SEN are strongly encouraged to apply!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
