I am currently representing Bromley Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 7+ months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are looking for a Compliance Manager. This role will be hybrid, requiring 2 days office-based work in BR1 3UH.
The right candidate will:
1. Develop a robust reporting and monitoring strategy to maintain compliance and set standards that reflect LBB's commitment across all operational buildings, with critical oversight of statutory compliance across the LBB portfolio.
2. Be responsible for setting, monitoring, and reporting the Facilities compliance performance with respect to statutory requirements borough-wide, including leased buildings where applicable, and maintain a comprehensive facilities information system to demonstrate that compliance is in place, utilising the LBB CAFM or other systems.
3. Develop a robust system to monitor developments and changes in legislation regarding compliance and ensure that regular updates are provided to the FM team members.
4. Identify gaps in compliance through auditing and challenging property maintenance systems, ensure that any gaps are properly reported and recorded, and that appropriate remedial actions are put in place to address non-compliances in a timely manner. Escalate any non-compliance issues to the Head of Facilities Management.
We require the following:
1. Proven experience managing contractual relationships related to building services compliance.
2. Experience managing staff in compliance.
3. Proven experience managing compliance across both large corporate multi-tenanted buildings and satellite sites.
