Store Manager | Charity Superstore | North West London | £28,500
Zachary Daniels are proud to be partnering with a charity retailer to lead their superstore in North West London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a store that has had a brand-new shop fit. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a commercial eye, and a can-do attitude. We seek an individual who wants to build a community around the store and drive footfall through events and creative marketing.
Role Responsibilities
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
2. Manage a team of assistant managers on a day-to-day basis, involved in recruitment, probations, and 1:1s.
3. Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to assist in the operation of the shop.
4. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve fundraising goals.
5. Maintain accurate financial records and manage the shop's budget to ensure profitability.
6. Maintain a positive relationship with donors, customers, and volunteers, and promote the shop's mission and purpose within the local community.
7. Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
8. Plan and organise events and promotions to increase footfall and awareness of the shop.
9. Outstanding collaborative working ability with the manager and team of the on-site donation centre.
Skills
1. Experienced in retail management, ideally in charity.
2. Previous experience in managing a team of employees or volunteers.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of volunteers.
4. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
5. A committed and flexible self-starter who is adaptable and able to work independently.
