Kluman & Balter is one of the UK's largest bakery ingredients suppliers and wholesalers. We supply a comprehensive range of Bakery supplies and ingredients, to in excess of 500 customers nationwide with our diverse customer base ranging from local high street Bakeries, Plant Bakeries, Food service and the Major Multiples. A1 Cake Mixes as part of Kluman & Balter Group is focused on supplying a diverse range of sweet bakery mixes focused on Business to Business sales.
About the role
* The Commercial Assistant position is a key support role with a strong administrative focus and will be responsible for providing support to the Business Manager of A1 Cake Mixes and Commercial / National Account Managers within the wholesale business.
* Delivering a high level of customer service through the management of customer demand, working with our blending partners, ingredient suppliers and logistic partners to deliver great customer service.
* Supporting both the Business Manager and National Account Manager with required management data to deliver commercial targets.
* As a Commercial Assistant you will be used to working in an environment where attention to detail and time is critical whilst managing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
* Ideally, your skills and experience will derive from a similar role within Food industry, however this is not a prerequisite as we would consider graduates that can demonstrate relevant experience of working in a customer facing role.
The right candidate will have:
* Excellent attention to detail, data entry experience and a good all-round level of IT/PC literacy
* Demonstrable communication and organisational skills with the ability to work to critical deadlines.
* A diligent and highly organised approach, coupled with plenty of initiative and proactive nature to taking on challenging activities.
* Data analysis - demonstrable Excel ability & systems
* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
