Job Summary
The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Administrator supports the development, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental programs and policies for Intoheat. This role ensures compliance with UK regulatory requirements and promotes a culture of safety within the organisation.
Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK HSE regulations and standards (e.g., Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Environment Agency).
2. Documentation and Reporting: Assist with maintaining accurate HSE records, assist with the preparation of reports, and document incidents, inspections, and audits.
3. Risk Assessment: Assist in the identification and assessment of potential hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
4. Incident Investigation: Assist with the investigation of HSE incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and develop corrective actions.
5. Safety Programs: Support the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
6. Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
7. Inspections and Audits: Assist with regular HSE inspections and audits to ensure workplace compliance with safety standards.
8. Communication: Serve as a point of contact for HSE-related issues, providing guidance and support to staff and management.
9. Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement in HSE practices and performance through regular review and updating of policies and procedures.

Person specification
Knowledge and experience:
1. Ideally 2-3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within a similar industry.
2. An understanding of UK HSE regulations and standards (e.g., Health and Safety at Work Act, Environmental Protection Act).

1. Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable Qualifications and Certifications
1. Degree educated.
2. NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or willing to undertake necessary training).
3. IOSH Managing Safely.
4. First Aid and CPR Certification.
5. NEBOSH Environmental.
Working Conditions
1. May require occasional travel to various worksites within the UK.
2. Must be able to work in varying conditions, including exposure to industrial environments.
3. Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
