About You You will be a recently qualified accountant with a keen interest in developing your skills within a busy commercial finance environment. Given that the finance team are a central function within the group, the ability to easily build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels is a necessity. Responsibilities & Criteria Minimum (essential) requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) seeking a career within a busy commercial finance environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with both staff and external stakeholders Experienced and component in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and escalate matters where necessary to the relevant personnel. Ability to work efficiently and prioritise your workloads in a fast-paced environment, delivering a high level of accuracy and attention to detail within tight timeframes. Highly flexible, including willingness to work flexible hours at peak times. Experienced in preparing management and statutory accounts. Desirable requirements: 1-2 years post qualification experience within a in busy commercial environment. Demonstrable experience in the use of accounting software such as Sage, Oracle, SAP or similar across sales ledger, purchase ledger and nominal ledger. Circumstances Location: Belfast (Hybrid Model). Minimum two days per week in the office. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (or 5 days per week) with additional hours as and when required.
