Job title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Workington
Hours of work: 8.30-16.30 Mon-Fri
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Excellent knowledge and competence in mechanical engineering
- Understanding of failure analysis and maintenance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Good knowledge of plant processes, equipment and management systems
Ideally applicants should also have:
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical discipline
Role information:
- Develop and review technical engineering standards for discipline
- Perform the technical aspects of criticality analysis, failure analysis and maintenance strategy
- Identify when parts need to be replaced
- Participate in root cause analysis problem-solving
- Promote engineering workflows
- Support work task templates for the quality of work planning and execution
- Carry out inductions and competence audits
