Service Dogs UK is a registered charity that provides and trains assistance dogs to support members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services who have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Service Dogs UK is committed to supporting 'those that serve' past or present and is dedicated to providing therapeutic benefits through dogs.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Volunteer Corporate Fundraiser. The Volunteer Corporate Fundraiser will be supporting the Fundraising Manager in raising funds for Service Dogs UK through corporate partnerships. They will assist in developing fundraising strategies and activities, researching and engaging with potential corporate donors, and assist with corporate fundraising campaigns to support the charity's mission.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and working with businesses
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
* Passion for supporting veterans and individuals with PTSD
* A passion for dogs and the transformative effect they can bring
* Previous experience in fundraising or charity sector is a plus
