Equans are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team in Belfast on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package. What will you deliver? Demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and work as part of the Project Delivery Team in early review of techniques and solutions to meet the business and customer objectives Early identification of business risks in projects throughout their lifecycle, from pre-contract to close out, and ensure that risk management, risk registers and contingencies are in place to manage and minimise the risks Work with the Supply Chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in the profitability, costs, quality and learning of all parties, whilst fairly allocating risks and rewards Conduct all duties in a manner compatible with Equans SHEQ Manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities Manage the prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes Manage the production of accurate and timely project financial forecasts for use in setting targets and managing the business Work closely with the regional teams to form a comprehensive ‘capture plan’ for securing new opportunities and maximising the life of secured projects and customer base Take up a key role in negotiations with internal and external customers and /or their consultants with a view to a ‘win/win’ outcome Take responsibility for commercial resource management What can we offer you? Experience within a Senior Surveying / Commercial Management Role Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent financial acumen, ability to analyse complex data with accuracy Skilled negotiator with proven experience in a commercial environment Sound understanding of risk analysis/management C Literate with knowledge of MS applications e.g. Word, Excel Thorough knowledge and experience of Business Assurance systems Who are we?
