Leasehold Officer Brentwood Contract £15.45 per hour PAYE Our client is looking for an experienced Leasehold Officer. Responsibility for the administration of leaseholder service charges, major works, shared ownership properties, Right to buy applications and other leasehold services income. To take ownership for the performance of leasehold property management, ensuring the correct apportioning and accounting of expenditure. To ensure an outstanding customer service and service delivery. To prepare the annual estimated and actual service charge accounts. The post covers a wide range of duties assisting with the day to day management of our Leasehold properties, leasehold management, including the collection of service charge arrears. To issue Section 20 notices in accordance with legislation. To fulfil this role within the framework of service objectives, the Council’s corporate objectives and policies and any legal requirements. Working knowledge of how to read and manage Leases Demonstrable experience of working in Leasehold Services Demonstrable evidence of working in a customer service/focussed environment. Experience of arrears recovery in respect of Service Charge and Major works arrears Experience of processing Leaseholder Service Charges for Actuals and Estimates.
