Job summary We are a GP Practice operating across 3 sites in central Sheffield providing high quality care for circa 8000 patients. We are looking for one or two (Dependant on the hours of suitable candidates) part time GP Receptionist / Care Navigators to join our friendly practice team. Applicants will ideally have experience of working in a patient/public facing role and have excellent communication skills and telephone manner. A positive attitude and flexible approach are essential. Experience of Clinical systems are desired but full training will be provided for suitable candidates with good IT skills. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and problem solving skills with the flexibility of being able to support the team. The role will be subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks. Main duties of the job Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate services or healthcare professional in an efficient, effective and empathetic manner. Managing patient appointments and medication requests along with concerns and queries in relation to their healthcare. About us The Mathews Practice is a friendly and forward thinking GP Practice operating across 3 sites in central Sheffield and delivers care to our patient population via our practice teams. We are a key member of the Heeley Plus Primary care Network and work collaboratively with a group of 7 GP Practices to provide holistic care to our wider patient population and have a good working relationship with Heeley Trust Community Hub. Our Belgrave site is also an (OOH) Out Of Hours hub for patient access outside core hours between 6.30-9.30pm. (Applicants wont be expected to work outside core hours.
