Job summary Applications are invited for up to 40 hours per week Transgender Healthcare General Practitioner posts working in the NCTH as part of the NCTHnet. This is a new post. Any Clinician who is unable for personal reasons to work full time will be eligible to be considered for the post. Newly appointed Clinicians can be offered mentoring which will be arranged by the Executive Medical Director. Main duties of the job To deliver face to face and remote transgender healthcare clinics. To record clinical activity accurately and comprehensively and submit this promptly to the Information Department. To participate in service and business planning activity for the locality and, as appropriate, for NCTH To participate in annual appraisal for senior medics. To attend and participate in the academic programme of the Trusts and NCTHnet, including lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD programme. To participate annually in a job plan review with the Clinical Director in order to ensure that the post is developed to consider changes in service configuration and delivery. To work with local managers and professional colleagues in ensuring the efficient running of services and share with consultant colleagues in the medical contribution to management.
