We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Communications Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team for a fixed term period of two years. The role is full time but we are happy to consider part time applications, (from 29 hours per week). £29,023 - £33,322 per annum (pro rata if part time) Taking a lead on the implementation of communication strategies that engage, excite, inform and inspire, you will be responsible for communicating key corporate announcements; creating and managing two-way engagement and internal communication channels and campaigns. Braintree District Council is undergoing an enormous amount of change under its Fit for the Future programme, and the Communications team plays an important role in ensuring employees are kept informed and engaged. This role will be a key part of that in delivering structured, consistent communications about the programme. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in internal or corporate communications and in developing and delivering campaigns. You will have excellent communication, project management and organisational skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders. You will also be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and be proactive and flexible.
