Job overview
Brighton & Hove Wellbeing Service is an NHS service supporting people of all ages with mild to moderate mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression. The service offers a range of support and therapies for children, young people, and adults and employs around 150 staff across the city who deliver a combination of face-to-face and remote appointments. The main base for the service is on Preston Road in Brighton.
The service is delivered by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with YMCA DownsLink Group and Southdown.
We are currently recruiting an Assistant to join our Leadership Team to support the efficient and effective working of senior leads within the service.
We are looking for someone who has a desire to make a difference, to work hard and to further their knowledge, skills, and experience.

Main duties of the job
Your focus in this role will be to provide comprehensive administrative and PA support to the Senior Leadership team of the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service.

* Coordination of meetings with internal and external staff and stakeholders
* Minute taking for key service leadership team meetings as well as ad hoc meetings as needed

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
As Assistant to the Leadership Team, you will be supporting in ensuring the maximum effectiveness of the Clinical Lead and General Manager by providing high-level personal assistant support to the Clinical Lead, General Manager, and senior leadership team. You will undertake a wide range of activities that enable the Clinical Lead & General Manager to focus on key priorities, maintaining a professional and highly confidential approach to work at all times.
The role will involve:
* Maintaining a professional and highly confidential approach to all work carried out for the Clinical Lead and General Manager
* Providing excellent administrative support, using appropriate software packages, working to strict timescales and to a very high standard of accuracy.
* Arranging a variety of complex appointments and meetings, being aware of competing priorities, involving internal and external agencies; using initiative to produce agendas in advance, take minutes, and produce and action follow-up action points, undertaking any relevant research as required
* Assisting the Clinical Lead and General Manager in the production, analysis, presentation, and dissemination of information to key people within deadlines to aid decision-making for service improvements and changes.
* The post is full time (37.5 hours) and the service is looking for a candidate that could work every day of the week or compressed hours across four days. Working hours are flexible between 8 am and 6 pm. The service supports working from home and there is an expectation that the successful candidate would work from our base in Brighton (Preston Road) at least one day per week.
