Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant at our Littlehampton location. The Assistant will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or physical disabilities. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with daily living activities, coordinating with healthcare providers, supporting individuals in accessing community resources, and helping them achieve their personal goals. The Assistant will also maintain accurate records and collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality care and support.
Qualifications
* Experience in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or physical disabilities
* Skills in coordinating with healthcare providers and accessing community resources
* Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic understanding of safeguarding and person-centered care
* Relevant certifications or training in care work are a plus
* Ability to handle physical tasks and provide physical support when necessary
