We are looking for an Contracts / Procurement Lawyer to join a large alternative business structure operating on behalf of public Sector Clients which includes local government. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large shared service arrangement on a permanent basis which prides itself on being one of the market leaders for undertaking public sector work in the East Midlands and South East. Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Lawyer role: We are looking for 3 years' recent experience dealing with the following matters: Providing legal support and advice to local authority clients to progress and complete a procurement subject to the Public Contract Regulations. This includes assistance with preparing draft Ts&Cs, reviewing ITT documents, addressing clarification issues, addressing issues arising ahead of submission of tenders, advising on approach to procurement complaints or challenges, and finalising contracts Assisting local authority clients to establish companies, providing company secretarial support, and advising on general corporate issues for local authority trading companies Practical and recent knowledge in drafting Construction Contracts and associated documents on behalf of local authority clients, advising on issues arising in the preparation of and from construction contracts. The role will be a hybrid working arrangement and you will have the opportunity to work from 1 of their 3 offices in central Northampton, Bedford or Cambridge 1 day per week.
