We are seeking a Generator/Electrical Apprentice to join us at our Kilcronagh depot in Cookstown. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while assisting in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our electrical equipment, ensuring it meets the highest standards. This hands-on position offers a great starting point for your career, with a variety of tasks, ongoing technical development, and the chance to work on diverse projects as you build your skills. What you will do: Develop electrical knowledge by identifying and diagnosing ignition and electrical system issues in generators and equipment. Shadow and assist experienced technicians to acquire hands-on experience and practical knowledge in electrical repairs and servicing. Work under supervision to fix identified issues, including replacing parts, repairing systems, and ensuring proper functionality of electrical systems. Diagnose electrical faults, including wiring, control systems, and connections, using diagnostic tools and equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and safe working environment. Gain proficiency in using various tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment essential for electrical repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, documenting the parts used and providing detailed information for service logs. What you will need: GCSE Maths at Grade D or above, and GCSE English at Grade E or above. A keen interest in electrical systems and power generation equipment. A strong willingness to learn and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers, using innovative equipment and solutions.
