Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to oversee a prestigious high-rise residential project in Birmingham? We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to work in Birmingham with a £4 billion turnover business, as a Site Manager for a landmark development of 500 apartments, valued at £150 million. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping the skyline of Birmingham while working with a dynamic and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
1. Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the high-rise residential scheme, ensuring it meets quality, safety, and project timeline requirements.
2. Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
3. Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on the site.
4. Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural plans and specifications.
5. Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
6. Maintain regular communication and reporting with senior management, providing updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
7. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, and local authorities.
Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably with a focus on high-rise residential projects.
9. Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices.
10. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
11. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
12. Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and a track record of ensuring compliance on construction sites.
13. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
14. Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues to ensure project success.
15. Relevant construction qualifications and certifications would be advantageous.
