About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance Team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to fill the post of Finance Officer. The post holder will be responsible for providing a broad range of technical, reporting and analytical financial support to senior colleagues within the Finance function and to the broader organisation. As Finance officer you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of operational and support services for all finance and related functions across the Group. You will ensure that service user’s requirements are met. You will also be responsible for maintaining all systems relating to the financial management of the Group and the preparation and maintenance of all financial data and related information relating to the production of management information. Your significant practical experience should include a comprehensive knowledge of financial procedures and accounting techniques. Duties include assisting the Finance Manager with the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements, Management Accounts, Budgets, monthly budget monitoring reports and value-added analysis to budget holders. Advanced ability in Excel is a must and you will have a track record of accuracy and working to tight deadlines. Experience of process improvement and modernisation within a Finance function, and supporting a business partner model will also be an advantage.
