We are working with a groundbreaking, innovative housing partnership as a not-for-profit organisation in South London with ambitious objectives for making the area a great place to live.
Formed just after the turn of the millennium as an Arms Length Management Organisation, we work in partnership with the local Council and its residents, managing over 5,000 council properties and over 1,500 leasehold properties in the local area. Although the housing stock is owned by the Borough, day-to-day management, maintenance, and asset investment is the responsibility of the client.
In the last three years, we have in-sourced the repairs service, grass cutting service, started a large-scale transformation programme for both residents and colleagues, achieved Customer Service Excellence & Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance accreditation, delivered an Energiesprong retrofit programme, and will be delivering our new asset investment programme based on the best stock condition survey data in the sector, along with much more. We have a strong commitment to colleague engagement, health, wellbeing, and flexible working.
The local population is growing, and the need to deliver a supply of affordable homes has never been greater. Our client is quickly becoming a service provider of choice for additional council specialist housing services and has been successful in a partnership bid with a Registered Provider for a stock rationalisation programme where over 500 homes in the local area will fall into the client's management.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Lifts Manager to manage the internal portfolio, ensuring the delivery of the programmed electrical & lifts improvement and cyclical Planned Maintenance.

This includes initial survey and site assessment, planning and technical research as necessary, preparation of drawings and sketches, making calculations, and preparing the specification documents for tender.
You will be part of a team carrying out the procurement process on suitable projects and liaise with the Contracts Officer in accordance with the Department's policies and procedures.
You will deliver programmed electrical & lift engineering works within the tendered price, achieving the required financial targets and ensuring that the specification and contract conditions are fulfilled.
