Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import/Export Coordinator to manage and coordinate all necessary documentation for international shipments. This role involves preparing and refining key paperwork, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations, and collaborating with logistics and finance teams to optimize processes. A strong understanding of Incoterms and customs requirements is essential, as well as an eagerness to learn and contribute to process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage all required import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, pallet declarations, packing lists, and other shipping-related paperwork. Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements to facilitate smooth cross-border operations. Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other external stakeholders to ensure timely clearance of goods. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade requirements, applying this expertise to daily operations. Identify areas for improvement in current import/export procedures and contribute to implementing best practices. Support data entry and management tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of shipping activities. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in import/export coordination or a similar logistics role. Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs requirements, and international trade regulations. Proficiency in preparing and managing documentation for cross-border shipments. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple shipments and deadlines effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. A proactive mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with freight forwarder systems, customs portals, and other logistics platforms. Experience in refining and optimizing import/export processes in a fast-paced environment. A desire to learn and grow into more complex logistics or trade-related roles.
