The School - Behaviour Mentor
This SEMH school (Social, emotional & mental health) is based in the vibrant and diverse borough of Sutton, South London. They cater to a mixture of age groups and have an inclusive and creative learning environment supported by a team of Teachers, behaviour mentors & vocational support.
The Role - Behaviour Mentor
The school are looking for nurturing & creative support educators to work with students across various year groups. You will need to be calm, have a strong presence, be confident in building rapport & be proactive when supporting these vulnerable learners.
Job overview:
-Provided 1:1 or group support
-Assist the Teacher
-Provide a positive & engaging learning environment
-Manage emotional and behavioural learning barriers
What do you need? - Behaviour Mentor
-Experience supporting children, youth or young adults
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to build good rapport with young people
-Patience, empathy & a strong presence
