Apply via https://www.eif.co.uk/jobs Social Media Work closely with the Digital Experience Manager to research, create and publish engaging social media content that builds brand awareness Oversee the day-to-day social media content calendar, working with internal teams on social media requests Represent the International Festival across digital channels, supervise the community management, reply to queries, interact with stakeholders, and actively encourage User Generated Content (UGC) Seek out opportunities to tell stories about the wider organisation on social media, particularly working with the Exec Office, Development and Discovery & Participation teams Identify opportunities with artists, organisations and media partners to co-create and amplify our messages across the widest possible networks Engage brand-appropriate Influencers across our social channels Create, deliver, and report on in-house Meta campaigns Work with the Brand & Campaigns team, contributing to paid social media planning and creating compelling digital assets and adverts in line with campaign goals Live event and behind-the-scenes socials content capture and editing including creating Reels, TikToks, and other social-specific video Compile weekly and monthly performance reports to provide insight, analysis, and benchmarking Monitor Festival mentions and trends in social media, online channels, and digital design Contribute to the day-to-day running of the Festival’s social media channels by creating, scheduling and publishing campaign content, and responding quickly to questions and comments Content Work with the wider communication and marketing teams to generate campaign ideas and develop content in line with wider strategies Develop platform-appropriate content across our main digital channels; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn, our email databases, and our website Contribute to the planning and production of engaging video, photography and audio content Optimise creative assets according to the channel with a particular focus on video and reels Help to shape and manage the detailed communications and content schedule for the Festival to support the planning and production of engaging video, photography and audio content Work directly with and coordinate freelance photographers and videographers throughout the Festival Manage approvals workflow and help with proofing content, coordinating pre- and post-production, ensuring content is produced, delivered and approved in good time Work with Access Manager to ensure content produced is as accessible as possible, arranging captions, surtitles, BSL interpretation and audio description where appropriate Assist in developing or adapting content including blogs, PR stories, and email copy Maintain a database of all created content Other Support Digital Experience Manager with Web Projects as needed Work with the wider Digital Team in supporting requests to design and generate e-mail campaigns Work with the Audience Insights Manager to monitor and report against digital KPls, using appropriate analytics, sharing insights with colleagues Support the wider Audience department with proofreading Contribute to the ongoing implementation of a house style guide, encompassing brand and tone of voice guidance, acting as a champion to maintain standards in this area Provide occasional administrative support to the department as needed Confidently represent the International Festival’s values in all areas of your work, including championing accessibility, diversity and inclusion and sustainability across all digital content and social media platforms, in line with organisational goals and strategies Person Specification About You You will bring our brand to life online. You will love experimenting, analysing, and reporting on all things content and social. You will shape our content calendar in creative new ways to engage our international community of followers. Essential Business experience of managing social profiles, particularly Instagram and TikTok Ability to prioritise a conflicting workload efficiently and to maintain standards of accuracy and attention to detail when working to deadlines Experience in planning and implementing social media campaigns, including digital content capture Demonstrable experience of writing and creating content for different audiences An understanding of social media with experience using various social media platforms and management tools (eg. Sprout Social, Meta Business and AdsManager) An interest or engagement in the performing arts, particularly music, theatre, opera or dance Desirable Experience working in an arts/cultural/public sector organisation Knowledge of classical music Some experience with video editing or animation Experience of managing complex schedules in a fast, constantly changing environment Knowledge and experience of using of project management and scheduling tools (eg. Monday.com, Artifax) Knowledge of the processes and procedures used for all aspects of film production, post-production and associated technical standards Knowledge of digital accessibility, particularly around captioning, integrating BSL interpretation and audio description
