Professional Technical Ltd | Technical Sales Engineer
The company is a global leading manufacturing company situated in Burton Upon Trent. Their head office in the UK is an impressive building, with a full training facility on site. Due to continued expansion, they now have a rare opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the business. They offer a competitive basic salary circa £30k with Annual Bonus, Hybrid Working (3 days in the office and 2 days at home per week), 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme, Life Cover, Medical Cover, ongoing training and development.
The Technical Sales Engineer will report directly to the Projects Team Leader and be responsible for giving technical and sales support to Consultants, Contractors, Distributors, Merchants, OEM's, End Users, and the Company's Sales Team. The role includes promoting the sale of the Company's products and services by providing expert technical and sales support, understanding the UK Group organisation, and presenting the Company's Mission and Vision statements along with an overview of its strategic objectives.
Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Engineer:
* Acquire and maintain complete knowledge concerning the Company's range of products and services.
* Apply this knowledge in relation to customers' requirements.
* Keep up to date with changes in technology and development of our products.
* Prepare technical quotations and provide technical advice to our customers via telephone or electronic mail.
* Provide technical support to all company users.
* Liaise with warehouse/service staff on pump assembly, product modifications, and delivery.
* Develop knowledge of the product range, competitor ranges, and collaborate with External Sales staff to turn project opportunities into orders.
Requirements for the Technical Sales Engineer:
* Technical Sales Engineering background is required.
* Experience with a product range for an engineering or manufacturing company.
* Confident communicator with experience working with Field Service Engineers, Sales Teams, and Customers.
* Strong working knowledge of both Word and Excel.
