We're seeking an experienced Recruitment Business Partner / Recruitment Manager who can join a team during a period of change and transformation.
You will play a key role in providing strategic and operational recruitment expertise to support our hiring managers in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent. You will be focused on modernising and improving experience for all parties, including working in the following areas:
* ATS Optimisation
* Attraction Strategy
* Professionalising the service
* Improving MI
* Reducing time to hire
* Enhancing candidate experience
The role will also involve line managing Recruitment Officers and Recruitment Assistants, ensuring the team delivers a high-quality service to council colleagues.
Candidates should have:
* Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or as a Recruitment Business Partner.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
* Experience in line managing and upskilling recruitment teams, including Recruitment Officers and Assistants.
* Experience in designing and implementing effective sourcing and selection methodologies.
* Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present recruitment data.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in the public sector would be an advantage but not essential.
* CIPD or equivalent HR/Recruitment qualification.
The Offer:
6 Months + Working via Hays on a temporary contract PAYE / Umbrella Company. Minimum 2 days per week on site in Southampton.
