We are seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Non-Working Supervisor/Site Manager to oversee and manage our groundworks projects.
Job Description:
The ideal Site Manager will have extensive experience in groundworks and will be responsible for managing multiple sites or overseeing long-term projects at a single location. This is a hands-off supervisory role, where you will be focused on coordination, quality control, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage multiple groundworks projects across different locations in the Midlands.
2. Conduct site visits to ensure projects are running smoothly and to a high standard.
3. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and the client to ensure effective communication.
4. Ensure all groundworks are executed in line with project specifications and health and safety regulations.
5. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
6. Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring that all works meet quality control standards.
7. Resolve any on-site issues and ensure projects stay on schedule.
8. Prepare and submit site reports, track progress, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in groundworks and site management.
2. Proven track record in managing construction teams and subcontractors.
3. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously or focus on long-term, larger projects.
6. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
7. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the Midlands.
