Roles like this don't come around very often This is a newly created Administrator / Office Manager position in a growing firm of Accountants and it can shaped by the person that joins. So what does the role involve? In short, a little bit of everything. Working closely with the Directors, you will be helping take away the majority of administration from the team, this will be things like; Filing and Data Entry Assisting on projects Writing up proposals Assisting in event organisation Basically, everything that can free up the time of the Accountants so they can do what they do best So who is the ideal person for this role? You need to be someone who is very organised and someone who enjoys having a visible role within a business. It will be fast-paced at times and once you got up to speed, you will find that you will be given the space to manage your own workload and have the autonomy that goes with it. If you have experience of working in a professional services firm (Accountants / Solicitors / Financial Services / Recruitment etc) it will give you a massive advantage but it is not essential. In terms of location, they are based in Northampton, really easy to get to and they have a car park on-site.
