As Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for the tracking, analysis and reporting of campaign performance to drive marketing planning and business growth. You will work with external agencies and internal teams to define key marketing metrics, interrogate data and provide insights to support the broader marketing team in campaign planning and optimisation.
As Marketing Analyst, you will:
* Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activity ensuring that all targets are set and performance can be measured.
* Work with agency and internal teams to build and maintain dashboards to monitor campaign performance.
* Create dashboards that can be easily accessed by multiple stakeholders to monitor daily campaign performance.
* Ensure that data sources are aligned and understood to deliver one version of the truth in terms of performance.
* Provide insight and recommendations to enable marketing managers to take corrective action as necessary to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered and that learnings are implemented into future activity.
* Stay abreast of changes to the regulatory environment which may impact tracking and campaign measurement.
To be successful in this Marketing Analyst Role, you will have:
* Experience using analytics to drive strategic business decisions, ideally with a focus on marketing.
* Understanding of marketing channels and what makes a successful campaign, particularly in terms of online media channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube, display, paid search, mobile, social media and the related ad serving technologies).
* Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct detailed data analysis.
* Hands-on experience with business intelligence (BI) and analytics tools, such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to break down complicated information for a variety of stakeholders.
* A proactive attitude and commercial mind-set.
* Aptitude for reporting, analysing numbers and uncovering key trends and insights.
* You will also be highly numerical, focused on delivering on KPIs and ensuring that all marketing activities undertaken are tested, measured and reported on accordingly.
* Reporting and insights will form a key focus for your role.
