The shift pattern for this position is 8am - 4pm & 10am – 6pm Monday – Friday.
An opportunity has arisen to work within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Clyde Sector, Greenock. The core activity of the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit is the decontamination, assembly, packaging and distribution of reusable endoscopes in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Currently, we have 1 post available in the unit, on a permanent contract. No experience is required as full training will be provided. However, a good general education including literacy and numeracy skills, together with good manual dexterity are desirable.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required:
* Required to undertake on-the-job induction and training in all processes.
* Required to complete departmental competencies.
* Undertake all Statutory / Mandatory Training.
* Undertake and complete mandatory HCSW standards.
* Applicants should have English and Maths qualifications at National 5 level.
* Applicants should have effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Applicants should have the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Applicants should have a working knowledge of basic information technology.
