We are looking for a qualified enthusiastic Early Years Nursery Manager.

Our setting:
We have 2 well-established settings in Mancetter & Tamworth. This position is for our third and newest setting opened in 2023, in central Atherstone. This provision is a 24-place, term-time only nursery (in line with Warwickshire term dates) for 2, 3 & 4-year-olds. The team consists of 4 practitioners and an apprentice. We are still awaiting our first Ofsted inspection.
Our position:
We are looking for a qualified level 3 or above Nursery Manager to work 37.5 hours a week over 5 days, from 8 am – 4 pm, running a 24-place provision for 2-4 year olds.
In essence, the role would be to run and manage the setting and, where required, to work within ratios. We require someone who has a flexible and adaptable approach to learning and is willing to undertake appropriate training. This candidate must have a commitment to anti-discrimination practice, equal opportunities, safeguarding duties, and maintain confidentiality.
Essentially, you will also have good experience working within a nursery setting as a manager and working with children aged 2-4. You should have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and the ability to observe, plan, and assess children’s development. You will need to have good experience and knowledge of safeguarding, SEN, policies and procedures, managing practitioners, and dealing with families.
Desirably, you will hold:
* an enhanced DBS and be part of the update service,
* valid paediatric first aid and food hygiene certificates,
* and have attended safeguarding level 1 training.
Training will be provided throughout the probationary 12-week period if not already obtained.

* Accountability: Managers must take responsibility for their actions and help their team find solutions.
* Vision: A clear vision sets aims and objectives for the setting.
* Honesty: Reflective practice requires honesty about experiences and roles.
* Flexibility: Be willing to adapt thinking and actions.
