About the Role
Cohen Rabi is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a specialist Eating Disorder Service in Preston as a Deputy Ward Manager. Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Ward Manager in the daily operations of the ward, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
* Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team, fostering a positive work environment.
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and medication management to ensure safe and effective care.
* Ensure full CQC compliance, adherence to NMC guidelines, and alignment with best practices in mental health care.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centred care.
* Participate in staff training, mentoring, and performance management to enhance professional growth.
Requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC PIN
* Experience in mental health, eating disorders, or complex care settings
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance
* Ability to manage shifts effectively and lead a dedicated care team
