Sharp Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Clerk for a well established business in Bakewell that have just moved their payroll in house and are going through a period of significant growth. This role is initially temporary with the potential to go permanent further down the line.
The role is part time ideally working 3 days per week from the scenic office in Bakewell. As it is a new position you will have full autonomy over the group payroll function being able to implement new processes if you wish. You will be responsible for the full end to end process of weekly and monthly payroll for 300 staff ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use Sage payroll to process weekly & monthly payroll
* Set up new starters & leavers on the system
* Calculate SSP, paternity and maternity
* Calculate staff bonuses
* Process annual leave payments
* Liaise with site managers & employees to discuss any queries
* Payroll journal postings
* Management of full end to end payroll
What do you need to be successful?
* Available to start at short notice and commute to Bakewell
* Have experience managing a full end to end payroll function
* Experience in using payroll systems and Excel
* Be proactive with great attention to detail
