The CEO will develop and implement commercial business strategies to maximize shareholder value leading to an exit. This position will lead the day-to-day operations and includes fiduciary responsibilities to the Board and shareholders. The role will focus on driving international commercial expansion as well as leading the technical teams managing the product development roadmap.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
1. Proven record of delivering visionary commercial strategies and establishing new business categories.
2. Network and direct involvement in one of the strategic growth sectors/verticals.
3. Experience in M&A (preferably sell-side).
4. Strong organisational development skills with an understanding of employment frameworks.
5. Proficiency in management accounting, budgeting, and internal/external communications.
6. Background in 'deep tech' with strong empathy for technology development.
7. High resilience and the ability to work independently.
Training and Qualifications
1. Ideally higher education in Materials Science or Engineering discipline.
2. Expertise in resource management and developing high-performing organisations.
