Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Conveyancing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our fee earners by preparing legal documents, supporting Legal Assistants and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of Conveyancing procedures and excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Provide secretarial support to the residential property fee earner
2. Screen incoming calls
3. Produce letters, correspondence, and documents
4. Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
5. Handle client queries and take instructions from clients
6. Use case management system
7. Liaise with other departments
8. Respond to and follow up enquiries by post, telephone, and email
9. Deal with post-completion matters
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Outstanding time management skills
2. Knowledge of legal terminology
3. Capacity to communicate with a diverse range of people
4. Professional telephone manner and the ability to take messages effectively
5. Paralegal experience: 3 years (preferred)
6. Conveyancing / Residential Property experience: 3 years (preferred)
