About us
The partnership model is a first of its kind for Buckinghamshire. It's a partnership between the Amersham School and Stony Dean School, both schools are successful in their own rights and are looking to offer something different for the pupils of Buckinghamshire. The pupils on the Partnership model will have an EHCP and will require a level of support to access a mainstream school. Learners will be fully included in lessons in the Amersham School. The Partnership Learning Support Assistant will provide the support to overcome and remove barriers to learning to make it successful.
To support the social, emotional and learning needs of individual pupils identified on the partnership model. You will work in collaboration with the Partnership model teacher and teachers from Amersham School to provide individual support/strategies for students with a range of SEN. You will also support in other areas where requested.
About you
Essential:
Team-player
Committed to equality and care for children
Compassionate
IT skills (email, Microsoft Office suite, learning technologies)
Experience of working with SEN (ASD, MLD, ADD/ADHD etc)
Desirable:
Degree in related field (Psychology, Education, Linguistics)
