About the role This is a training and education-based role, reporting into the Security Enablement and Training Manager. You’ll be part of the Information Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance Team (IGRC) but will work closely with a wide variety of business stakeholders across the group. You’ll assist in the delivery of a group wide strategy, supporting a programme of work to drive cultural change and embed positive security behaviours. The role will assist with developing and maintaining a security skills and capability matrix to ensure the business meets its strategic objectives safely and securely and will cover learning needs for all aspects of Security including Information Security, Physical Security, Business Continuity and Cyber Security. Additional responsibilities include: - Assisting in the development and maintenance of training, education and awareness campaigns. Ensuring compliance with security, regulatory and Data Protection Action (DPA) commitments. - Assisting with the delivery of training, education and awareness programmes virtually and in-person. - Assisting in the management of colleague training and awareness KPI reporting. - Providing security culture and behaviour subject matter expertise into various processes across the department and wider business. - Effectively liaising with Drax teams, consultants and contractors to deliver against agreed targets. Who we’re looking for Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working within a training and education role with an ability to translate standards, frameworks and controls into meaningful content. You’ll need to have a structured, methodical and accurate approach with the ability to interpret relevant industry regulations and standards. Ideally, you’ll also be familiar with the development and maintenance of training, education and awareness campaigns and material. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence beyond your sphere of control.
