Purchase Ledger Clerk

Ashton-Under-Lyne (Fully on-site)

Up to £25,000 per annum
Hours:
08:30am - 16:30pm (Monday to Thursday) / 08:30am - 13:45pm (Friday)

Job Responsibilities:
* Processing of all purchase invoices within SAP on a timely basis
* Creating a payment run each week for domestic and overseas vendors
* Ensuring all vendor master data is kept up-to-date, and ensuring there is adequate authorisation for changes to such master data
* Reconciling a sample of vendor statements and investigating any discrepancies
* Ensuring SAP purchase ledger records are correct and accurate
* Maintaining a clean ledger
* Ad hoc projects
Candidate Requirements / Experience:
* Attention to detail
* Accurate input skills
* Purchase ledger experience
* Experience across SAP and/or Oracle
* Worked within a manufacturing environment (ideally)
* Good communication skills
* Able to work on site full time
