Job Purpose As a Stage 1 Co-ordinator your role will be to prepare and submit Claim Notification Forms (CNFs and SCNFs) in a timely manner to ensure the team meets its targets. As part of this role you will be required to liaise with file handlers, third party insurers and clients to obtain missing information. Key Duties & Responsibilities To prepare CNF’s and sCNFs to ensure they are Portal ready and submit via the Portal. To make outbound calls to client’s and third party insurers to proactively obtain further information. To take incoming calls from clients to assist with queries and obtain/update information required for the initial stages of the claim. To liaise with external companies and internal departments in a timely and professional manner in order to effectively process CNF and sCNFs. To raise DVLA requests. To perform Medco searches and send medical instructions. To highlight errors on files and any other anomalies. To be able to accurately move work between schedules. To ensure customers and the business are kept safe through compliance to all procedural and regulatory legislation as required by SRA. To take responsibility for your own actions ensuring you keep up to date with all communications, processes and procedures. Experience & Knowledge To be able to develop and maintain the relevant skills required for a Stage 1 Co-ordinator role. An ability to answer simple legal queries relating to the MOJ process. An ability to answer simple legal queries relating to the OIC process. An understanding of VF Legal. Strong communication, IT and interpersonal skills. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment. An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
