The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region to lead our regional sales efforts. This is an executive leadership role that requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in Enterprise SaaS, with experience in both startups and large corporations.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience collaborating with key partners such as Salesforce and Accenture, as well as strong relationships within our target verticals: Telecommunications, Home Security, and Consumer Electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Serve as the regional leader, setting the strategic direction for sales in Europe and leading the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
2. Partnership Development: Leverage existing relationships and build new partnerships with key partners like Salesforce and Accenture to drive sales through these channels.
3. Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Customer Experience (CX), Field Service Management (FSM), and Contact Center markets, with a focus on Telco and Consumer Electronics.
4. Enterprise Sales: Lead a team of salespersons and CSMs, as well as engage directly with enterprise customers, particularly in the Telco industry, focusing on their call centers and self-service departments.
5. C-Level Engagement: Engage with C-level executives, demonstrating maturity, sophistication, and performing value-based sales of our solutions.
6. Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to support the companys growth objectives.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to align sales strategies with company goals.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: 10 to 15 years of significant and successful experience in Enterprise SaaS, including in both startups and large corporations.
2. Partnerships: Relevant experience of working with partners like Salesforce and Accenture.
3. Hands-On Approach: Willingness to be actively involved in sales processes and lead by example.
4. Industry Contacts: Strong, validated contacts within the target verticals and geography—Telecommunications, Home Security, and Consumer Electronics.
5. Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Customer Experience (CX), Customer Service (CS), and Field Service Management (FSM) markets, with CX as the top priority.
6. Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in selling to enterprise customers via partners, especially within the Telco industry.
7. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities, with experience leading regional teams and driving significant growth.
8. C-Level Interaction: Ability to confidently engage and communicate with C-level executives.
9. Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
10. Location: Based in London with the ability to travel as required.
